Rehearsals are in full swing for the AMT summer production of “Annie”! All the cast and crew have been working feverishly to learn the challenging music of the show. From Orphans, Household Servants and Hooverville residents, the cast has a wide range of parts to fill!

Production dates for “Annie” are August 1, 2, 3, 8 & 9 at the Flickinger Center for Performing Arts.
The countdown continues to the “Godspell” premiere on April 11th! In the meantime, the cast and crew have been feverishly rehearsing music and staging. If that was not enough, they have been painting billboard signs and building set pieces for the production! What a dedicated crew! If you have an interest in helping out, drop us a note! Director Kirsten Barker takes some time to create the fictional Yellow Brick Road for AMT’s summer production of “The Wizard of Oz”. Think of it as a large coloring book! This weekend Joni Castello and Ronnie Brockett came out to trace and paint signs for our upcoming show “The Wizard of Oz”! AMT members Ken Weir and Pary Bennett spent Saturday afternoon putting up billboards for the spring production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” . Dozens of hours go into the creating and painting of the multi-colored signs by many volunteers. Be on the lookout, billboards are posted a month before the show on 1st Street, 10th Street, Indian Wells and White Sands Blvd. “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” opens at the Flickinger Center on April 13th.
This past Saturday, March 3rd, was a busy day for the cast and crew of AMT’s “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”! There were sets being built out at the AMT Hut, billboards being painted in town and two promotional events to advertise the show! The first was the Cheer Off at Alamogordo High School. Shortly after was the Alamogordo Public Library’s Birthday Celebration. There was a performance by the show’s Narrator (Joni Castello), Joseph(Anthony Kumpf) and the Narrator’s Chorus. A lot of effort is going into this fantastic show!
