  1. Happy to see that “1776” is listed here in 1990. Bob and I took our sons, David and Christopher, to see this great play, which was their first experience with theatre. They were 10 and 8 at the time. Some years later, both became involved in theatre. Chris had several roles in community theatre in Columbia, SC while he was a student at USC. David was in local (Florence) FLT productions while in high school, then singing roles in opera productions at USC. This led to an 8 year opera career. Thought maybe those who work so hard to produce these shows in Alamogordo would enjoy knowing what an influence they have on the children. I can still see Millie Ruth ___ dressed in a blue satin gown singing the part of Abigail. What a voice! Many thanks to all who made 1776 possible as it greatly enriched the lives of our family long after the production was over.
