  1. I appeared in Annie as Roosevelt in 1989. Whatever happened to Cinnamon Hill the beautiful little girl who played Annie? I will be 80 in. Few months and wonder about Cinnamon, the Halls, and others from the three years I spent at Holloman.

    • Mr. Cotlar,
It is so great to hear from AMT alumni! Sorry it took so long, but I was able to find out some info on Cinnamon Hill! Cinnamon is living in Texas with her husband Chad Martin, an Episcopalian priest. She is a graduate student now and is pursuing a clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy. Though not actively working in music, she does still sing in the church choir. This information was provided by Cinnamon’s mother, Dr. Joyce Hill, who works at NMSU Alamogordo as the head of the Humanities, Social Sciences and Education Division.

If you ever have any other questions about AMT, please feel free to drop us a line. We will be more than happy to share what we can. If you are in the neighborhood, we will be presenting “Annie” this fall! It’s the first time we have presented it since your production in 1989.

      • Thanks so much. The Halls(?) who had the jewelry store in downtown Alamogordo are also in my thoughts. Are they still there and are they still involved with AMT? Al Cotlar.

      • Susie Hall is still very much active in AMT and serves on the Board of Directors for the organization. Sadly, Cliff passed away in late 2004. We have since named the building on our property “Cliff’s Hall” in his honor. I will let Susie know that you have been asking about her. I also let some of long time members know you have been writing. All of them remember you fondly and think its fantastic that you have found us on the web!

    • I am still kicking around the west. Played Francis Perkins. We had a great time with that cast. Was my first show with the theatre. Hope you are still well.

  2. Hello Dr. Cotlar. Jim Huff here. Great to know you’re doing well! I have many fond memories of our time on stage together.
