“How to Succeed” Bio: Rosemary Pilkington

We are continuing the character bios of the cast of characters of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”.  Set in the 1960′s, we are looking for a mix of strong singers and dancers to play executives and secretaries, all with the style and swagger of the cast of Mad Men. This week we are featuring the character near and dear to Finch, Miss Rosemary Pilkington. (Mezzo: age 20’s-30’s)

Rosemary Pilkington is a secretary who is far more interested in finding a man to marry than advancing her career. After meeting Ponty, she immediately sets her sights on becoming Mrs. Finch. The character has a strong Lucille Ball vibe and was played on Broadway by Megan Mullally (Karen on “Will and Grace”) in the 1995 revival.

Auditions for the show are May 21st & 23rd at the Flickinger Center for the Performing Arts. If cast, actors must be available for all rehearsals and performance dates.  If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment. We will get back with you promptly!
